Community of Practice (CoP) on Research Integrity Training
The Community of Practice (CoP) on Research Integrity Training aims to connect all stakeholders involved in developing, delivering and/or monitoring the research integrity training offer and other initiatives for PhD candidates at the VU and Amsterdam UMC.
Mission
The CoP on Research Integrity Training aims to:
- facilitate collaborations and dialogues on the mandatory research integrity courses for PhD candidates;
- discuss curricula needs;
- support the development of effective mechanisms to monitor and assess the courses.
Activities
The CoP on Research Integrity Training will promote periodic meetings with relevant stakeholders at the two institutions, including academics and researchers involved in developing, delivering and/or monitoring research integrity training, coordinators of the mandatory research integrity courses for PhD candidates, research integrity coordinators at the VU Faculties and policy officers for research integrity, to:
- discuss the vision and needs of the current research integrity training offer for PhD candidates;
- support the re-design of current research integrity curricula;
- establish collaborations for developing and implementing research integrity training;
- discuss mechanisms to effectively assess and monitor research integrity courses and other initiatives for PhD candidates at the VU and Amsterdam UMC;
- discuss the professionalisation of trainers in Research Integrity.
