RIOS is supported by the Philosophy Department of the Humanities Faculty at the VU, and the Ethics, Law and Humanities Department of the Amsterdam UMC, and currently receives funding from the Board of Directors of the VU.

RIOS aims to connect with all the initiatives related to research integrity, research ethics, responsible research and innovation, open science, and  research culture (including recognition and rewards, as well as inclusion, diversity and social safety) at the VU and Amsterdam UMC. In this way, RIOS can link you with other researchers, policy and stakeholders interested in these topics, both informally and through the regular events we plan such as our research symposia and communities of practice meetings. We can also think along about how to strengthen your activities and make them more visible, as well as to apply for external research funding.
